Totally Random Friday: New Stuff and Old Stuff

New Stuff:

I started writing my new story and I think I'm in lurve. :) I'm excited to tackle a male POV, but I'm even more excited to be writing again! It's YA sci-fi (of course), and I even have a title--DESCENT.

Maybe I'll get brave and post a snippet next week. We'll see. :)

Old Stuff:

Have you seen this awesome contest over at the Shooting Stars blog? They're giving away a 1913 copy of Grimm's Fairy Tales! How cool is that? You better hurry, though. Contest ends today at 5 p.m. MST.

And don't forget about this

Any new stuff or old stuff you want to share?

Have a great weekend everyone! :)

  1. I have a couple of new babies too. So in lurve. Thanks for the links.
    Have a great weekend!

  2. I'm supposed to be researching agents and querying my last project (which I've just started to query), but I'm too in love with my new book to stop editing. So at this rate, I'm going to be querying two books at the same time. Geesh!

Love the dancing baby. I'm going to have to write a blog post next week just so I can use it. :D

  3. As sexist as this might sounds...

    "Shake it Baby!"

LOL, sorry. Had to be said.

Congrats on the new project. It sounds like you're pretty excited about it, which is always a good thing.

  4. I'm so glad you are loving your new story. I'm having a hard time getting into mine. I think I'm going to put aside and work on another idea I have.

  5. Awesome contest, but I am so psyched you are getting into something new. And I love the title. Can't wait to read some of it! ;)

    Have a great weekend!

  6. Yay! A new story. I've been thinking about starting on a new one too (while I revise the current one), but can't decide which one of my ideas to tackle.

I hope you stay in love with your story for a long time : )

  7. Ooh, YA sci fi! I love it! (totally deserves a dancin' baby!)

  8. Fun! Love starting a new story. And a male POV is interesting, to say the least. I'm working on revisions of a novel with a male POV character.
