They Lurk in the Shadows

Originally posted November 17, 2009.

Upon realizing that literary agents are just regular people, my youngest daughter (8 years old) informed me she thought agents dressed in all black, like ninjas, and hid in the shadows, waiting to attack publishers who won't give their people book deals.

I seriously don't know where she comes up with this stuff.

  1. I have to remember that they are people, too as well. Very funny picture :)

  2. Thats funny. I've seen the picture before, but it always makes me wonder what happened next. Did the girl notice her drink was gone? Did the boyfriend notice some dude has his head next to the guy's butt? Did he pound him into glue? There's a story in there somewhere.

For some reason I picture Jackie Chan on a rooftop...sneaking into Little, Brown or Penguin....

  9. LOL. What a cutie! It would be fun to see an agent dress up like a ninja.
